The prior agreement for the annual seawall replacement program was cancelled upon award of the agreements for the emergency seawall repairs resulting from Hurricane Irma. The Hurricane Irma seawall repair project will be completed this fiscal year.
Procurement issued an Invitation to Bid for the Seawall Replacement Program and as needed repairs to establish a new agreement for these construction services. Solicitation notices were sent to 188 vendors, 12 viewed the solicitation on-line and the City received 3 responses.
The annual expenditures will be dependent on the established annual budgets and the program will be adjusted to meet each budget. The unit prices will remain fixed for the initial year of the agreement and maximum annual price adjustments for unit prices in years 2 and 3 have been established. This initial period of this agreement is for 3 years and may renew upon mutual agreement of both parties for an additional 3 year term.
