Title:

A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Punta Gorda, Florida, approving the Interlocal Agreement with Charlotte County for the Buckley’s Pass Harbor Access Project; authorizing the Mayor to execute the Interlocal Agreement; and providing an effective date.

Recommended Action: City Council approval.
Summary: As part of the assessment methodology development for the Buckley's Pass additional harbor access project, several parcels located in unincorporated Charlotte County have been identified as receiving a special benefit. The City has requested the County to create a municipal services benefit unit (MSBU) to assess these properties. City and County staffs have drafted the proposed Interlocal agreement and the Board of County Commissioners will consider the request at its February 26 regular meeting.
