Title:

Award of Contract Change Order #2 to Hans Wilson & Associates for Application Coordination related to the Charlotte Harbor Access Project

Funds:
  • Appropriation of $8,950 to expenditure account 301-3004-549-6515 for Charlotte Harbor Access project #BRDCUT.
  •  Appropriation of $8,950 to revenue account 301-0000-384-5013 Interfund Loan from Special Use Fund.
  •  Appropriation of $8,950 to transfer account 113-0000-589-9220 Interfund Loan to General Construction fund from fund balance reserve.
Recommended Action: City Council authorization to appropriate funds and award Contract Change Order #2 to Hans Wilson & Associates of Fort Myers, FL for the additional application coordination required for the permitting process.
Summary: After lengthy discussions with our consultant, Hans Wilson & Associates, the Army Corps of Engineers is requiring analysis beyond what was required by the other agencies, thus exceeding the agreed upon estimated hours.  It is anticipated that this contract change order will cover costs through completion of the permitting process for the Additional Access to Charlotte Harbor project.
